What Is FIBROBLAST® Treatment?
A Fibroblast® treatment is a non-surgical, skin procedure that uses a plasma pen to deliver controlled energy to the skin. This energy creates tiny micro-injuries, stimulating the body’s natural healing process and boosting the production of collagen and elastin. These proteins are essential for maintaining skin firmness, elasticity, and a youthful appearance. The treatment is often used to reduce:
-
wrinkles
-
fine lines
-
skin laxity
-
scars
-
uneven texture
-
stretch marks

How It Works
Fibroblast® technology utilizes a plasma pen device that emits a small electrical arc to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface without direct contact. This energy ionizes the natural gases in the air to form plasma, which creates tiny carbon dots on the targeted skin. The controlled trauma stimulates the body’s natural healing process, triggering the production of collagen and elastin, essential proteins that rejuvenate the skin.

FIBROBLAST® Results:Before & After
Fibroblast® treatment delivers noticeable results by reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin while improving texture and tone. Areas become smoother and tighter as collagen and elastin production is stimulated, creating a subtle rejuvenated effect. Results typically appear within 7-14 days, with continued improvement over 6-8 weeks. This non-surgical treatment is ideal for clients seeking natural, long-lasting skin rejuvenation.

Is a FIBROBLAST® Laser Treatment Suitable for All Skin Types?
It is not suitable for all skin types. It is most effective and safest for lighter skin tones because these skin types carry a lower risk of pigmentation changes or scarring. For darker skin tones, the treatment poses a higher risk of hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, or scarring due to the skin’s increased melanin response to trauma.
During your consultation, I will assess your skin type and suitability for the treatment to ensure it’s both safe and effective for you. If Fibroblast® isn’t appropriate, alternative treatments are available to achieve similar results.
What is the Downtime for FIBROBLAST® Laser Treatments?
It is typically around 5-7 days for facial areas and up to 2 weeks for larger body areas. Immediately after treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, and tiny carbon crusts (dots) on the treated area. These crusts will naturally fall off within a few days as the skin begins to heal.
During the healing process, it’s important to avoid sun exposure, picking or scratching the crusts, and wearing heavy makeup. Full recovery, including the fading of any residual redness, may take up to 2-3 weeks, though most clients can resume light daily activities after a few days.
How Soon Will I See Results from a FIBROBLAST® Laser Treatment?
You will begin to see results within 7-14 days as the initial healing occurs and the skin starts to tighten. However, the full results develop gradually over the next 6-8 weeks as collagen and elastin production increases, leading to firmer, smoother, and more rejuvenated skin. For some clients, the improvements can continue for up to 12 weeks, with optimal results achieved after this period.
Q & A
How Many FIBROBLAST® Laser Treatments Will I Need?
This depends on your skin’s condition and your desired results, 2-3 treatments may be recommended, spaced 8-12 weeks apart to allow for full healing and collagen production. During your consultation, I will assess your skin and provide a personalized treatment plan to ensure you achieve the best possible results.
Is a FIBROBLAST® Laser Treatment Painful?
It is generally well-tolerated but can cause some mild discomfort. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to minimize pain, ensuring the treatment is as comfortable as possible. Most clients describe the sensation as a slight stinging or tingling feeling during the plasma application. After the procedure, the treated area may feel similar to a sunburn, with minor tenderness that typically subsides within a few hours.
What Should I Expect After the FIBROBLAST® Laser Treatment?
You can expect redness, swelling, and tiny carbon crusts (dots) to form in the treated area, which naturally flake off within 5-7 days. Swelling peaks in the first 2-3 days, while mild redness may persist for up to 2 weeks as the skin heals. Over the next 6-8 weeks, collagen and elastin production will increase, gradually improving skin tone, and texture, with full results visible by 12 weeks. To ensure proper healing, avoid sun exposure, heavy makeup, and activities causing sweating, and follow any aftercare instructions provided.
